We are certainly fans of the Deep Impact with our Melbourne Cup bound girl Basilinna being by his son Staphanos and we are happy to have another member of this prolific sire line in our care.

And what a terrific racehorse Deep Impact's son Fierce Impact was, winning six races from 1200m to 2000m with three of his successes coming at Gr.1 level... the Toorak Handicap, the Makybe Diva Stakes and the Emirates Stakes.

The winner of over $3.3 million in stakes retired to stud in 2021 and with his oldest progeny only two he has made an encouraging start with the very promising New Zealand filly Zelia winning two of her first three starts before a game second at Listed level at her most recent outing.
 
And his progeny are only going to get better with time and maturity.

This colt is the first foal for the placed mare Magical Angel whose sire Per Incanto is excelling as a broodmare sire influence with seven stakes winners amongst the first 45 winners produced by his daughters... including the superstar Hong Kong based sprinter Kai Ying Rising.

Magical Angel is a half-sister to the stakes winner Good Man out of a half-sister to the dual stakes winner Marquardt from an outstanding New Zealand family whose members include the high class gallopers Dandy Andy, Ballroom Babe, Shantou Mayor and Polanski - all Gr.1 winners.


A lovely type of horse who has speed to burn, this horse has shown plenty already on the track. Won a recent Jumpout with ease on the 6th of May  even with the jock losing a stirrup and looks to be a horse with a very bright future. Is currently in the paddock and will return in the coming weeks to prepare for Spring three year old racing.
